NB Power employees safety concerns in the news:
NB Power rate increases kicked in this week, and now NB Power shared on social media how some employees have been confronted by angry people. Part of what they posted: "In the past week, there have been two serious incidents involving NB Power team members that were injured and physically intimidated while doing their job. These aren’t isolated incidents... We urge customers to express their concerns appropriately and respectfully. You can contact us at 1-800-663-6272 if you have any questions or concerns about your bill or service, and we will work hard to address them."

Tariffs and Trade War Update:
Canada will bring in counter-tariffs to match the tariffs that US Pres. Trump announced on foreign-made vehicles.
The Prime Minister has also promised more aid for auto workers who are being impacted by the trade war.
- Canada will slap a 25 per cent tariff on any vehicle imported from the US that doesn't comply with the CUSMA free trade agreement.
- The trade war is already impacting Canada's automotive industry - an assembly plant in Windsor, Ont. is shutting down for for two weeks, "largely because of these tariffs".
