Tariffs back in the news:
- Trump tariffs are in the news. Donald Trump has announced 25% tariffs on all steel and aluminum imports into the US. That's bad news for the industry in Canada and also likely to increase prices on a number of items for American consumers. As far as the Canadian government's response, most every party leader is already on record saying Canada needs to impose our own tariffs on the US and or have a plan in place to help workers who are impacted. Beginning today, Susan Holt, New Brunswick premier, is leading a delegation to Washington, DC to advocate for our province and a number of NBs biggest employers are also going.

- We spoke with Kim from the Greater Moncton Chamber of Commerce on Friday and her message was think Canada and support local when you make your purchase decisions. *my paraphrase.
