😀 We got a note from our friends at the Dorchester Beavers and Cubs about the fun stuff happening at Dorchester Consolidated School on Family Day (Monday Feb 17th):
"The beavers and cubs along with the Dorchester Fire Department and Greater Dorchester Moving forward host Family fun!!
- Touch the Trucks! (from 2 to 4pm *with sensory time from 2 to 2:30p)
- Free hotdog BBQ
- campfire
- skating on the huge outdoor rink
- hot chocolate!
Last yr we had over 300 kids! This year is bigger and better than ever!!"
*NOTE* This is a Free Event but it's also an opportunity to donate to the Cubs and Scouts!

😀 Skate for Tate is happening on Sunday (Feb 16)
You're invited to wear blue and join stop by the Avenir Centre in downtown Moncton from 9a to noon on Sunday (Feb 16th 2025). There'll be skating indoors and outdoors! Also, lots of fun activities for all ages- like face painting and even a chance to win a car! There'll be a silent auction and 50/50. Also, T-shirts and treats for purchase, all in support of Open Ice for Kids. Watch for speciali guests like Wild Willy and the Moncton Wildcats!
*CSA-approved helmets are required for skating.

- this event began in 2024 to remember 5 year-old Tate Hughes who passed away after a brief illness. Tate loved hockey! Skate for Tate is a chance for families, kids and people of all ages to come together and have a skate while raising money for the hockey community.
- Open Ice for Kids is a charity that helps kids and families who can't afford to pay for hockey registrations in the Greater Moncton area. DONATE ONLINE HERE
😀 Inflate-a-palooza is a lot of bouncy fun, magic, treats and more at the Moncton Coliseum Agrena Complex. It happens from from Fri Feb 14th to Mon Feb 17th.

😀 Petitcodiac Arena's 50th anniversary celebrations will include a Family-Friendly Skating Party, a Figure Skating Presentation and the U18 Petitcodiac Flyers vs Moncton U16 AAA Thunderbirds Hockey Game! This happens from 1:00p to 6:30p on Sunday February 16th, 2025
