Charlottetown Meteorite is making headlines

icymi, they think the Charlottetown Meteorite is the first time an audio recording has been made of a meteorite hitting the ground.

- happened in July, in the headlines now after the experts weighed in... it left a dent in the front walk... and made a big noise...
- a fella named Joe got the footage... he had been standing in the spot where the meteorite hit just moments before! scary!!

Here's how it shook down... Joe got back from walking his dog... saw this weird debris on his walkway... checked the camera footage... it was like a mini explosion... A friend said maybe it was a meteorite and so Joe got some samples of the fragments and sent those to Alberta for expert analysis...
- has been named the Charlottetown Meteorite
- the first and only meteorite ever found on the Island
