There's lots of fun and family activities set for New Year's Eve 2024 in Moncton!Highlights from the press release:
The City of Moncton and the Moncton Wildcats present the 3rd annual New Year's Eve Family Fun Fest at Downtown Place on Dec 31st!
- live performances by Signal Hill, presented by Subaru of Moncton, Les Hay Babies, presented by UNI Financial and Big Bad Party Band, presented by National Bank.
- TWO dazzling fireworks displays!
- a beer garden sponsored by the Hyatt Place Moncton and Carrabba’s,
- the BioScript indoor Kids Zone will feature family fun including performances by Mr. Mark and Mike Pendergast, a photo booth, face painting, and other family fun activities.
- public skating sponsored by Action Car & Truck featuring the Rona Pit Stop marshmallow-toasting and s'mores station AND also complimentary maple taffy on a stick from Briggs Maples!!
Here's the SCHEDULE:
- 2p to 6p live entertainment on the Rona Local Stage (2p Opening Prayer/2:30p Voices Rising Youth Choirs/ 3p High Fidelity/ 4:30p Dahlia Ave)
-2p to 7p kid-friendly activities and live entertainment at the BioScript Kid’s Zone (2:30p Mike Pendergast/ 3:45p Mr. Mark/ 5:00p Mike Pendergast/ 6:15p Mr. Mark)
-2p to 10p the Lounsbury Warming Tent will be open to take the chill off.
-2p to midnight Food trucks on-site and a fundraiser barbecue/fries situation from the Cavendish Fry Truck (2p to 10p). $$ raised will go to the United Way ... also Hyatt Place Moncton/Carrabba’s Outdoor Bar serving up grownup drinkydranks©
- 4p Wildcats vs Charlottetown Islanders at Avenir Centre.

- 6:15p to midnight Evening concert with performances by Big Bad Party Band sponsored by National Bank, Les Hay Babies sponsored by UNI Financial, and Signal Hill sponsored by Subaru of Moncton.
Midnight ring in the New Year with the Atlantic Lottery Countdown and fireworks sponsored by Medavie Blue Cross.
