Moncton’s Danielle Dorris wins medal at World Para Swimming Championships! / New report says Moncton’s Airport is one of the least stressful in Canada! /The New Brunswick Child & Youth Advocate issues a report saying that the government’s changes to school gender inclusion policy 713 breaks three separate laws and violates the Canadian Charter of Right & Freedoms./ A Nova Scotia zoologist says this summer the Maritimes has a higher number of earwigs than the region has seen in nearly 40 years./UNI Financial Corp. replaces CEO, brings back former NB Premier to run things (UNI customers have been dealing with technical issues preventing some of them from doing basic banking since UNI rolled out their own app in early July.)/ Baton Atlantik sent 4 athletes to the Nation’s Cup & World Baton Twirling Championships in Liverpool, England. The competition went from August 4th to the 13th. This featured top athletes from all over the world! A Tip of the Giant Foam Cowboy Hat to our athletes who represented the region: Sophie Babineau, 16 years old, from Grande-Digue... Lucy Gray, 14 years old, from Moncton... Julie Allain, 25 years old, from Moncton... & Brianna Middleton, 20 years old, from Moncton who became the 2023 World 3-Baton Silver Medalist!/ Groundbreaking ceremony for new coronary care unit at Moncton Hospital/ Dramatic rescue at Fundy…Off duty police officer saves woman at Laverty Falls!/ YQM Countryfest 2023 saw tens of thousands of fans come out for Morgan Wallen, Keith Urban, Thomas Rhett and a ton more country stars enormous crowds for the festival's first-ever three night format./
