We were talking about all these things that were invented by accident and went on to make the world a better place (and also made the accidental inventor a LOT of money!)
Here are some highlights:
- chocolate chip cookies happened because they ran outta nuts and figured "maybe chocolate will taste OK in a cookie?" (paraphrase)
- potato chips were created out of spite. (Tony often tells me 'All things are possible through spite')
- Worcestershire Sauce was a failed attempt at something which got put in the cellar and then re-tasted like a year later... then it tasted pretty good. The recipe still has secret ingredients!
- Beer? Yes, beer was discovered by accident. But that was thousands of years ago.

Also a mistake was:
- the Implantable Pacemaker. Pacemakers used to be huge monstrosities. Then, a happy accident!
- Slinky toys were inspired by something on a ship that fell onto the floor and behaved in a fun, slinky-like way.

Kids, put your earmuffs on for a second... Viagra was supposed to help treat angina. It didn't work too well on that, but people began to notice that Viagra did have a 'positive' effect. We want to become professional wrestlers name Dusty Hot Dogs and the Schneider Kid. Yes, we're a tag team. This started by accident, but now we're confident that the WWE will be calling ANY MINUTE! Thanks for your ideas about what our wrestling characters will be like. "Dusty needs to carry a six foot long hot dog that he can use as a weapon when needed."
