👉 Harvest House (https://www.facebook.com/harvesthouseatl) helps to feed hungry people, gives people dealing with homelessness a safe place to stay, helps addicted people get healthy, and even teaches skills to help folks get jobs and back on their feet.

👉 YMCA Moncton's ReConnect Street Intervention Program helps at-risk people and people dealing with homelessness. You can give money, gift cards, hygiene products, anything is appreciated! 👉 Salvus Clinic on Church Street helps people who are: 1) going through homelessness, 2) dealing with poverty, 3) struggling with mental health issues and substance use, and more. You can donate time, money, or products to help people. Click their Facebook link or THIS WEBSITE to donate online.


👉 Food Depot Christmas Boxes help people and families who depend on the Food Bank. If you or someone you know is in need of support this holiday season call 506-800-1174 for information on the Christmas Food Box program or CLICK HERE to find some helping resources. Any time you need help with food you can call 506-383-4281 to make an appointment with the Peter McKee Food Centre (475 Saint George).

👉 Atlantic Wellness gives free therapy to young people going through mental health issues. Please consider giving a donation to Atlantic Wellness in someone's name this Christmas! CLICK HERE to donate online or stop in to 225 Lutz St Moncton.


👉 How to Help the Salvation Army to help others:
1) See a Salvation Army Kettle somewhere around town? Put money in that kettle! Your donation will help families around here. Many kettles even have tap-to-pay!
2) Donate to Salvation Army Maritimes HERE. 
3) Did you donate a toy to our Stuff-a-Bus Toy Drive the other day? Then you already helped! (all donated toys go to the Salvation Army to help families in our region)

👉 Canadian Blood Services hopes that you can donate blood this Christmas season! The need for blood is constant, and donor numbers take a dip during the holidays. - Canadian Blood Services says there are more than 200 open slots between now and the end of the year. (*at time of blogging Christmas week).

👉 Fill the Bus is about filling a school bus with non-perishable food donations for the food bank. Any Anglo East School is happy to accept your food donation during Fill the Bus... see this List of Schools. You can also donate by scanning their QR code...

 
👉 St George's Anglican Church in downtown Moncton serves 2000 meals monthly to the hungry. They also offer a shower facility to people in need, a laundry service to unhoused people, and warm clothes to people who spend their days in the cold with no place to go. This all happens because of donations of time, money, or goods.
You can donate warm socks, hats, gloves, boots, jackets, underwear and personal hygiene products, or money. If you're able to help, it's St. George’s Anglican Church, 51 Church St. Moncton, NB. E1C 4Z3 or email them at (office@stgeorgesmoncton.ca).

👉 The Reverse Advent Calendar is where you add one item to the box every day leading up to Christmas, then you donate that box of food to the Peter McKee Food Centre on December 23rd. This is perfect for the Office, a Class Challenge at School, Church and Community Groups, or for Families who want to help this holiday season! Thanks for you support!!

👉 *UPDATE: GOAL HAS BEEN MET FOR THIS YEAR* The Sue Stulz Turkey Drive is December 7th, 8th, and 9th, 2022. It's a Drive-through Drop-off situation... drop off a turkey donation around back at the Saint George Blvd Fire Station across from Centennial Park (800 St George Blvd). The hours are from 10a to 7p. You can also donate online at https://www.suestultzturkeydrive.com/
