When I was a little kid, we got the day off school so we could line up and see the Queen's motorcade as she drove through Moncton. She drove past us on Saint George Street near what was then Aberdeen School (now a cultural centre). The motorcade slowed so that she could wave and say hello to us. That was pretty special.
